Students got an excellent opportunity to explore the nature through the various activities conducted like tree planting campaigns, art from waste exhibits, recycling initiative, waste reduction initiatives….etc.
The air was filled with environment protection slogans and messages like ‘Lets Plant More Trees’, conserve sparrows and reduce waste. Exhibits of plant products, pictures of important medicinal plants were also displayed on the bulletin boards. Students rendered speeches and recited poems to mark the occasion.
A short movie with the theme ‘To protect the environment’ was also shown to the students.
It was a day for doing something positive – an earnest collaborative effort was made by the teachers and students to infuse a renewed support for environmental conservation along with other environmental concerns.
This endeavor aimed at committing to work together to build a safer, more prosperous and equitable world for all and to ensure environmental sustainability was a resounding success.
